I know I'm getting old, but I'm not sure if I should blame this on age, or just too many places to remember. Probably both.
Regardless, I was going through my pictures to find my next story to post and came across this place:
However, I have no recollection of going there! That happens from time to time when I look at a photo, but usually, after I google the location I end up saying, " ah, yes".
Not so this time. And the worse part is this photo is only a little over a year old! How could I forget such a dramatic view so recent? Scary!
Khao Daeng Viewpoint is located just south of Hua Hin in Thailand. I know I've visited Hua Hin on several occasions. I've had one of my best resort stays there:
I certainly remember my stays in Hua Hin, but not this place. I must have taken a day trip there and simply forgot! Anyway, the views were quite nice so I'll post them here:
I had to look up the location on the internet, as I said. This viewpoint is located on the east coast of Thailand. It's located in the Khao Sam Roi Yot National park. Not too far from the border with Myanmar.
So strange I have no memory of this. Could it be I was never there and some look alike cleverly planted these photos on my phone?
I'm not sure, but it sounds like me on the second video:
Good point
