I've decided to make Friday a day to post fictional or semi-fictional stories. I'll try to keep them light hearted and humorous if I can. But I know my sense of humor is not everyone's cup of tea.
Tomorrow I'll post on what life is like where North and South Korea come in closest contact. It is a mostly fictional account with some true events sprinkled in.
Saturday's scheduled post is regarding a much more serious true matter regarding the Comfort Women of Korea during WW2. I hope you'll read this one. It certainly made an impression on me, even though I had known of the event prior to my visit. Being there, seeing the memorial, and hearing Miss Moon Young tell the agonizing story gave it special impact for me. There are few of these women left now. They deserve to be recognized and respected.
👍
I will definitely follow up
