During Spring Break for the University of Florida, where my daughter graduated as an undergraduate, I took Michelle on a trip to San Francisco. Being so close to Yosemite, we took a day trip for a visit. Unfortunately it was only partially open this time of the year (March).
It's about a 3 hour drive or about 170 miles (275 km) from San Francisco to Yosemite. We had rented a car for the trip as we were going to take the scenic drive south along the Pacific coastline after a stop here.
It was still quite cool in March with a misty fog in the air. But that just added to the mystique of the place:
I'm not going to bore you with my words. The park is well known. This is mostly just a photo essay. Please enjoy these pictures of me and my younger daughter on our trip through Yosemite:
I hope you enjoyed this virtual trip through Yosemite Park as viewed by me and Michelle.
